Created by Carl Palmer and his management, the show will be presented with the full cooperation of the Estates of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. THIS IS NOT A TRIBUTE ACT- THIS IS THE REAL THING. Through modern technology they will reunite the band: Carl with his two bandmates playing together along with Keith Emerson & Greg Lake, who both passed away in 2016. The show combines video performance of Emerson and Lake from a legendary sold out ROYAL ALBERT HALL ELP show from 1992 with live on stage performances of Carl Palmer with his own ELP Legacy band, Paul Bielatowicz and Simon Fitzpatrick. Emerson, Lake & Palmer (informally known as ELP) was an English progressive rock supergroup formed in London in 1970. The band consisted of Keith Emerson (keyboards) of the Nice, Greg Lake of King Crimson (vocals, bass, guitar, producer), and Carl Palmer of Atomic Rooster (drums, percussion). With nine RIAA-certified gold record albums in the US and an estimated 48 million records sold worldwide, they are one of the most popular and commercially successful progressive rock groups of the 1970s, with a musical sound including adaptations of classical music with jazz and symphonic rock elements, dominated by Emerson's flamboyant use of the Hammond organ, Moog synthesizer, and piano (although Lake wrote several acoustic songs for the group). Become a Spectacle Live Member today! Multi-platinum selling, Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Geoff Tate is best known for his 30-plus years as the creative and driving force behind the progressive metal band Queensryche. Since its inception with Geoff at the helm, Queensryche has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and has performed in upwards of fifty countries. Geoff is regarded as one of the most skilled vocalists in the genre with hundreds of modern, popular artists citing him and his former band as a major influence. Combining social consciousness and expertly crafted lyrics with high-energy, melodically complex music, Queensryche with Geoff Tate at the forefront became internationally recognized as the thinking man's rock band. The band's first three albums -- their self-titled EP (1983), The Warning (1984) and Rage for Order (1986) -- all hit gold status selling over 500,000 units each. With the release of their landmark concept album Operation: Mindcrime (1988) -- which won critical and popular acclaim and comparisons to the Who's Tommy and Pink Floyd's The Wall -- Queensryche went on to bring their progressive music to sold-out audiences the world over. Beginning in March 2025, Geoff and the current line-up of Operation: Mindcrime, hit the road to celebrate the final chapter of Operation: Mindcrime, performing the 1988 landmark concept album from beginning to end in its entirety... As the longtime frontman of Voyage, he helped build one of the most successful tribute acts in the country, selling out venues nationwide and earning a reputation for delivering the most authentic Journey tribute. His uncanny resemblance—both in voice and appearance—to Steve Perry is no coincidence. In fact, when Hugo auditioned to take the famed frontman’s place, he was told he looked too much like Perry. Now, Hugo is taking it to the next level with Hugo – The Ultimate Journey Tribute. This show brings audiences the anthems they know and love, performed with the same passion and precision that only Hugo can deliver. Beyond his tribute success, Hugo has a deep-rooted history in rock. He was the lead singer of Valentine, a melodic rock band that emerged in the early ‘90s, carrying the spirit of ‘80s arena rock into a new era. Their self-titled album, released on Warner Bros. Records, remains a cult favorite among rock fans. Email or call Isabel Nichols (inichols@spectaclelive.com or 617-531-1257 x3) Taking turns at an onstage piano, the dual tribute artists of the Billy Joel/Elton John Face-2-Face Tribute Show conjure the beloved songsters in both sound and image. Backed by some the best and most sought after musicians in the business, Levittown NY native MIKE SANTORO’s fingers flash up and down the keys on “Angry Young Man” before he belts out high-energy Billy Joel classics such as “Movin Out”, “Scenes From An Italian Restaurant” and more. Following Santoro’s set, of the roughly three-hour show, RONNIE SMITH dons the iconic sunglasses and bedazzled suits of Elton John as he charts his style from the ‘70s to the present. Timeless anthems such as “Tiny Dancer” and the epic treasure “Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding” mixed with more whimsical material such as “Crocodile Rock” and the fictional rock-group narrative “Bennie and the Jets.” For the 3rd act, both artists hit the stage for THE grand finale, trading the spotlight with more of the best of Billy Joel and Elton John.
